A fine-tuned language model built in tribute to the bot that started it all
Abner AI is a language model I built by applying Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) on top of a 1.5 billion parameter base model. The goal was to take a strong general model and shape it into something with its own voice, its own personality, and a purpose tied directly to the PLVictor ecosystem.
The name is a tribute. Years before this project existed, I built Abner, a Discord bot that grew to nearly 1 million users and taught me most of what I know about shipping real software. Abner was discontinued in November 2024, but the name never stopped meaning something to me. Giving it to this model felt like the right way to honor where everything started.
The full fine-tuning run took almost 4 hours to complete. What came out the other end is a model that is now live, fully indexed, and connected to PLVictor Accounts, so anyone with an existing account can log in and start testing it right on the PLVictor site.
What went into building Abner AI
Abner started as a Discord bot in October 2022. It got verified by Discord within two months of launch, grew to over 1,000 servers and close to 1 million users, and was one of the biggest lessons of my early years as a developer. It was discontinued on November 7th, 2024, after a shift toward new projects, but it left a mark that stuck around.

Built into the PLVictor ecosystem from day one
Rather than training from scratch, Abner AI was shaped through Supervised Fine-Tuning on a 1.5 billion parameter base, focused on giving it a consistent tone and personality.
Login is handled through PLVictor Accounts, so testing the model uses the same account as the rest of the PLVictor ecosystem, no separate sign up needed.
Abner AI runs directly on the PLVictor site and is fully indexed, ready to be found and tested by anyone visiting the platform.
